Basic Meatballs

I recently just finished reading the latest novel in the Stephanie Plum series, Smokin' Seventeen.  I love the series for many reasons.  The first being Stephanie is a Jersey girl just like me.  The books are laugh out loud funny and I would love to have all the characters over for Sunday dinner.  The only problem with the books is that Stephanie is always eating good food and I always feel the need to eat a Boston cream donut while reading.  If you haven't checked out the series. I highly recommend it.

This is is my basic recipe for meatballs.  I like to serve them with pasta sauce over noodles or with gravy served with potatoes.  I like to bake my meatballs in the oven rather than cooking on the stove top.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
1 egg
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Seasonings to taste
Italian seasonings
Garlic powder
Onion Powder
Salt
Pepper

I like the baking idea. Lots simpler and less time consuming than browning and pan cooking.
